Must to do
1. Bring your Tuberculosis Test result paper(examined after Dec. 2021~, examined in your homeland or written in other language is okay.) 2. Buy USIM card at the airport for making your Korean mobile phone number, If you don't, you can NOT get any important information from SKKU Housing Office at all 3. ICN Arrival - Submit entry form - Take a limousine bus or taxi - Arrive at Jongno-gu Office Health Care Center in Seoul for COVID19(PCR) test - Take a quarantine shuttle bus - Check in your self-quarantine dorm (G-house)

At the airport
1. Buy USIM Card Make your korean phone number
2. Enter KAKAP OPEN CHAT

3. Remember your assigned dormitory name and address for sharing airport staff
4. Just in case, you should buy T-money card(Korean Transportation Card) in airport convenience store.

Currently public transportation operation is not running. So, you will be guided from In-cheon airport staff and seoul civil servants as soon as you arrive at ICN and Jongno-gu office, they will help you take a quarantine bus.
Note
Bring your VISA card and cash - Download KAKAOTALK app at appstore in advance - ICN Arrival - Submit entry form - Buy USIM card for your own Korean mobile phone at the airport - Text me [your Full name/Student ID number/ your kakaotalk ID] by KAKAOTALK APP - Exchange money to Korean cash (50,000 KRW) - Take a shuttle bus - Arrive at Jongno-gu Office Health Care Center in Seoul for PCR test - Take a quarantine bus - Check in your self-quarantine dorm (G-house) If you arrive at ICN late hour, you just check in G-house first then the next day morning 10:00 a.m., you should go to Jong-ro-gu Health care center to get COVID19(PCR) test.
During your quarantine 1
Do NOT forget!!!
1) Everyday, you should check your body temperature 3 times a day for Quarantine App for Korea government and one time(11 AM) for SKKU university report on KAKAOTALK group chat room [Name/student ID number/ body temperature]
2) Meal service: Breakfast 9:30~10:00 / Lunch 12:30~13:30 / Dinner 17:00~18:00
*If you want to get hot water, put your thermos out of room, security officers will give you hot water when they serve your meal with. Write [your room#/ name ]on top of thermos with post-it.*
3) There are CCTVs in aisle. Stay in your room ONLY. You cannot go out of your quarantine room.
4) Amenities: 3 bottles of water(1.5L), can coffee, 4~5 drinks, 1 snack, 2 toilet paper rolls, 1 chewing gum, individual items such as hand-sanitizer, mask, plastic bags for trash, etc.
*** YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SNACKS, TOILET PAPERS, OTHER NECESSITY ITEMS.
5) Do NOT throw away any food trash or toilet paper into toilet bowl. If do so, it might be clogged easily. If clogged, you will be charged.
*** No exiting/entering, stay in your private room ONLY, no smoking.
*** Residential fee is non-refundable and dormitory cannot be re-check in.
During your quarantine 2
6) Dormitory fee, 500,000 KRW : When your quarantine ends, the date, you should go to Woori bank in order to pay for your quarantine fee. I will send each person's payment information on Feb 4. on Kakaotalk group chat room(open chat).
7) Exchange student's official check in date(2022-Spring semester) is on Feb.12.(Sat.). Release date from your isolation is Feb. 5, 6, 7. Therefore , you should apply for extra staying after quarantine from (5, 6, 7) to Feb 12. You all just started conducting for self-isolation from Jan. 26, 27, 28 ~, so, I will issue each student residence extension payment account and upload information on GLS and then I will let you know on Feb 4. on Kakaotalk.
8) Other international student's Spring semester Early Check-in date is on Feb. 12.(Sat.). Therefore, when you apply for Spring-semester dormitory application, you must select [Feb.12.(Sat.) your check-in date. And the next step and schedule are the same as above(like exchange students).
9) When you have any questions or inquiries, Send message on kakaotalk group chat room as following form [ Name / Room#/ Inquiry], please.
During Your Quarantine 3
1) On Feb 4, Check your quarantine payment bank information on the list in our group chat room.
2) Same date, Check your residence extension date(Feb. 5/ 6/ 7 ~ Feb.12) for the exchange students and International students) and dorm fee(for extra staying) on the list of KAKAOTALK group chat room.
3) The release date(of your self-isolation) before one day, you should go to Jong-no-gu Health Care Center again in order to get 2nd COVID19(PCR) test. It is very important! Do NOT go there together. Do NOT take a taxi together. Just each one goes and comes back alone.
4) Make sure still you are not safe from COVID19. Incubation period is over 2~3 weeks. Also, even though someone has fully got vaccinated, but he/she got the PCR result 'Positive'.
5) On the date your quarantine ends, you should drop by Woori bank to pay for your 2022-Spring Semester dormitory fee. Each person will have different virtual account of Woori bank. Find bank information on list carefully and pay for 'your quarantine fee(500,000 KRW); and 'residence extension fee' correctly. Bring your Passport and Cash(Korean Won) with your Visa Card. Don't wire international transaction.

Your quarantine release date; checkout date is Feb. 6, 2022

After receiving your PCR 2nd test result on Feb. 6, 2022. at noon, you should move to I/E(B)/G/M(A)-house (for female) or C/E(A)/M(B)-house (for male).

Please visit Woori bank office (09:00~15:30) on the same day when you checkout from quarantine dormitory! Do not use ATM!! Show Woori bank staff your passport (or ARC) and give cash or card with your payment information(2 things), they will help wire your fees onto 2 dormitory virtual account numbers each.

●Remember!
Always be careful not to get infection. So, wear a mask!
COVID19 is a respiratory virus which spreads primarily through droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose. To protect yourself, clean your hands frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Also, avoid close contact with anyone who is coughing and sneezing.
●If you are Exchange students/GMPA, bring your blanket set(pillow, bed sheet and blanket) into your next dorm room. Keep using them during Fall semester. (If you are GKSs, Sam Sung Global Scholarship students and General International student, you should return your blanket set to check out desk.
●On your quarantine release date, take out your all waste sorting, or any trash from room, put your trash plastic bags in front of your room door.
● When you checkout from Quarantine room, you should bring out all your belongings once and then move out to the next dorm. I recommend you to take a taxi individually.
● Receiving PCR Negative result -> Take out your all luggage from room -> Go to the check out desk on the 1st floor-> Sign on checkout list and show your Negative result msg to a security officer ->Take a taxi -> Moving in Next dormitory -> Show your TB test result sheet, boarding pass, PCR 2nd test result, then sign, and check your room#
● Go to Woori bank office for your dorm payment, Do NOT use ATM or Do NOT use international money transaction service from your homeland.
For your quarantine fee payment
Later on, I will let you know your payment information such as bank virtual account number by KAKAOTALK group chat room after you check-in.
Each student cannot fulfill your own personal requiremeants, and must be careful for everyone's health and follow the rules for safety. We also do the best for you.
